As millions of Americans hunker down for the winter storm, 19 states and Washington, D.C., have declared states of emergency.

Winter Weather Advisories are in place for much of West Michigan, Northern Michigan and parts of the Upper Peninsula today as a snow and high wind gusts mark the first part of the day. Tonight, plunging temperatures and dangerously cold wind chills will put us back into the deep freeze for early Saturday.
