Ange Postecoglou described Tottenham Hotspur's dismal Premier League campaign as unacceptable after they slumped to a lame 2-1 defeat at north London rivals Arsenal on Wednesday.

Ange Postecoglou said he hopes his Tottenham players are hurting after their 2-1 defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday and labelled the performance "unacceptable."

With six defeats in their past 10 games, a loss to their biggest rivals and closer to the relegation zone than the top four, things are going from bad to worse for Tottenham.

Spurs took the lead through captain Son Heung-min in the 25th minute but an own goal from Dominic Solanke and a strike from Leandro Trossard meant that Arsenal took the lead into half-time and did not relinquish it after the break.
