An astronaut who experienced a medical issue aboard the International Space Station is back on Earth and in good condition, NASA officials said early Thursday morning.

An ailing astronaut returned to Earth with three others on Thursday, ending their space station mission more than a month early in NASA’s first medical evacuation.

It’s the first time NASA cut a mission short due to a medical concern.
