Pizza Hut will close about 250 locations in the U.S. through June as its parent company, Yum! Brands, moves to shut underperforming stores and reassess the brand’s long-term strategy, executives said.

Yum! Brands announced plans to close 250 underperforming Pizza Hut locations in the first half of 2026, Nation's Restaurant News reported.

Pizza Hut struggled in the quarter, with U.S. same-store sales dipping 3% and core operating profit declining 5%.
