Fire at Penn Station has some NJ Transit trains being rerouted to Hoboken

A late-morning fire on the Long Island Rail Road side of Penn Station in New York has caused NJ Transit to send Midtown trains to Hoboken. The electrical fire, reported at 11:22 a.m., caused a smoke condition. That prompted NJ Transit to cross-honor rail tickets on agency and private-carrier buses.
