INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Donovan Mitchell scored 29 points and had nine assists, Jaylon Tyson added 17 points and the Cleveland Cavaliers routed the Los Angeles Clippers 124-89 on Wednesday night, hours after the teams completed a trade of All-Stars.
Kawhi Leonard scores 25 points and the Clippers, playing without James Harden, rout the Phoenix Suns 117-93 for their 17th win in 21 games.
The Lakers went ice cold from the field to end the half as their deficit steadily grew with a 9-0 Clippers run. The Lakers scored just seven points in the final seven minutes of the second quarter and went into the halftime locker room trailing 64-47.
The G League's OKC Blue picked up a close 113-109 win over the San Diego Clippers on Friday. The road victory improved its record to 3-11 in the regular season.
