New Jersey is bracing for two rounds of snow and ice starting Tuesday afternoon. The first storm could bring 4 to 8 inches of snow to southern counties. EST a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Wednesday 1 p.m. EST until Thursday 7 a.m. EST for Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties.

Snow is expected to begin at noon Wednesday and continue the rest of the day, tapering off at 6 a.m. Thursday. The snow is expected to be on the fluffier side and will likely have an impact on the Wednesday afternoon and evening commute, the weather service said.
