T he Met Office has forecast a cold week for the UK with snow and ice to hit some areas of the country. There are currently six yellow weather warnings in place from today, November 17 through to Thursday November 20. The warnings are for snow and ice and mostly cover Scotland.
Weather maps predict the first snow to fall around 6pm on Friday, November 14. Just a few centimetres are forecasted in northern Scotland, particularly around Inverness. However, the snow could ultimately reach as far south as northern England, according to British Weather Services' senior meteorologist, Jim Dale, reports the Mirror.
