The two hit games shows will be making a major change in how viewers will be able to watch them in the future.

“Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!” are two of the biggest holdouts of the streaming revolution, available only on traditional broadcast television. Not for much longer.

Sony Pictures Entertainment said Thursday that it is moving to sell streaming rights to “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune,” two hit programs that have so far remained only available on traditional broadcast television.

Jeopardy! has already moved to streaming with its spinoff, Pop Culture Jeopardy!, hosted by Colin Jost, on Prime Video. Wheel of Fortune is cohosted by Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White. Seacrest took over for Pat Sajak in 2024 after he announced his retirement. All versions of syndicated Jeopardy! are hosted by Ken Jennings.

The two popular game shows have thus far been unavailable to stream on-demand, but rights owner Sony is looking to change that. Two of the most popular game shows of all time are finally coming to on-demand streaming.
