LOS ANGELES —CBS Los Angeles launched a new AR/VR technology studio on June 11, during the 9:00 AM newscast with meteorologist Paul Deanno.

The first augmented-virtual reality studio debuted at KPIX (Channel 5) in San Francisco. Similar studios have launched in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver and Miami over time.
