An update arriving in the first half of December for Space Marine 2 will bring eagerly-awaited PS5 Pro support and more.

As promised, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is getting a big ol' update in December. Patch 5.0 is adding a new Operation — one of the game's co-op-focused missions — along with new customisation options for coloured helmet lenses, and support for PS5 Pro. Hurrah!

Space Marine 2 has never been cheaper than it is right now, thanks to some Black Friday deals for the game that are still live. Those after a digital copy of the game though are going to have to pay more though.

Saber Interactive has announced the upcoming features in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Patch 5.0, set for release in the first half of December. The patch will introduce native PS5 Pro support, the Dark Angels Chapter Pack, and Operation: Obelisk, along with other key updates.

Space Marine 2 publisher Focus Entertainment has detailed the upcoming 5.0 update, and confirmed the game has sold five million copies. Patch 5.0, due out during the first half of December, makes the previously released Neo-Volkite Pistol (the one players were using to recreate Ghostbusters) available in PvP.
