Noah Cameron tossed another gem for the Kansas City Royals in their showdown with the Athletics on Sunday, further cementing the young lefty in the history books.
Eric Hosmer is one of the most important players in the history of the Kansas City Royals. He didn't stick around long enough or accumulate enough counting stats to ever be considered for the National Baseball Hall of Fame, though.
Still, the Royals sit just three games back of a playoff spot and the next month will be critical for them to stop the bleeding and turn things around. That will require the offense to improve, and according to Jim Bowden at The Athletic, the Royals are looking at the trade market for corner outfielders.

Loftin set the tone for the inning. The Royals followed suit with four consecutive singles as Bobby Witt Jr. added to his RBI total. Witt, who homered in the second inning, added his third and fourth RBIs of the game.
