The left-handed wicketkeeper-batter has become a cornerstone of India ’s T20 lineup and is heading to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for a massive Rs 27 crore. This makes him the most expensive player in IPL history. Pant is also expected to take on leadership responsibilities at LSG.

A total of 182 players were sold across two days, for a whopping ₹639.15 crore. Rishabh Pant of LSG, emerged as most expensive buy at ₹27 crores. Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest cricketer to get an IPL contract at 13 years.
