Samsung is thought to be preparing to launch a set of smart glasses. They will be teased alongside the Galaxy S25 launch, it is claimed. The full reveal of the new XR device won't take place until July 2025.

Samsung could finally showcase its XR smart glasses alongside the Galaxy S25 series in January. The XR device will supposedly be lightweight, resemble regular glasses, and possibly use Qualcomm's AR1 chipset.

Just like the Galaxy Ring, which was teased at the Galaxy S24 launch event, months before it was launched in global markets, Samsung might reveal the smart glasses at its next Galaxy Unpacked event, which is expected to take place in January 2025, "in the form of a video or an image", while the wearable could go on sale in Q3 2025.
