PHILADELPHIA -- Entering his second season with the Philadelphia 76ers, all eyes were on Paul George and whether the 9-time All-Star could get back to the player he once was to help the Sixers succeed. He had a miserable 2024-25 season, as did the entire team, and was hoping to bounce back.

Embiid was added to the injured list, dealing with a knee injury. However, according to Philadelphia 76ers insider Austin Krell, Embiid has been upgraded to probable ahead of Friday's game. After missing time due to injury at the beginning of the year, this would be Embiid's sixth straight game for Philadelphia.
