Nick Saban is a year into his retirement from coaching football at the University of Alabama, yet he and Terry Saban remain active in the Tuscaloosa community.

Nick Saban spent his first year of retirement plenty busy. The former Alabama football coach spent his Saturdays in cities from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Columbus, Ohio and Dublin, Ireland, working as a analyst for ESPN's College GameDay.

After 50 years of coaching, college football legend and Marion County native Nick Saban will soon have his name enshrined in the College Football Hall of Fame.

Saban was a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame and it was clearly only a matter of time before he got in. As Pat McAfee said in the clip above, Saban is widely regarded as the greatest coach in the history of college football and he has the accolades to show for it.
