Pedro Neto has been in fine form for Chelsea over the past two matches with the 24-year-old playing in a new position across Enzo Maresca's front line due to injuries elsewhere

Inspired by a repurposed Pedro Neto and level of Christopher Nkunku performance not seen in months, Chelsea hammered Southampton 4-0 to, at least temporarily, right a top-four push that had been listing badly since the turn of the year.

Despite defeat against Aston Villa, there were plenty of positives, which Maresca recognised. Goalscorer Enzo Fernandez and Reece James were praised by the Chelsea head coach, while Pedro Neto filled the void of Jackson's absence to lead the line.
