Ramos endorsed Andrew Cuomo the day after AOC endorsed Zohran Mamdani and two days after a debate between the nine Democratic candidates​.

The decision by Ms. Ramos, a state senator from Queens, is at odds with her frequent criticism of Andrew M. Cuomo, including comments questioning his “mental acuity.”

State Sen. Jessica Ramos is cross-endorsing former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the race for mayor of New York City, News 4 has learned. Ramos, herself a Democratic candidate in the race, was expected to make the announcement alongside Cuomo on Friday morning.
