Jaylon Tyson made his first career start on Wednesday, and the 20th pick neared a triple-double to help the Cavaliers defeat the Pelicans.

Tyson, who averaged nearly 20 points per game during his lone season at the University of California, Berkeley, joined a starting group of Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Ty Jerome — who led the team with 27 points — all working to instill confidence in the rookie before the game.
