Amazon CEO Andy Jassey teased Denis Villeneuve's James Bond movie, the 26th in the franchise — currently the subject of much casting speculation.

EXCLUSIVE: After setting Denis Villeneuve to direct the next James Bond movie, Amazon MGM Studios has a writer in its sights to pen the next installment in the 007 franchise. Sources tell Deadline that Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has been set to write the pic.

Amazon MGM Studios confirmed on Thursday that Peaky Blinders mastermind Knight will be taking on the script for Denis Villeneuve ‘s 007 film, Knight, also the writer of Netflix’s House of Guinness, Disney ‘s A Thousand Blows, spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live Breakfast on Friday to talk more.
