PERTH, (ANI) – India made a commanding statement in the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Perth, with a sensational 295-run victory over Australia. The hosts, chasing a daunting target of 534, were bowled out for 238 on day four, sealing India’s perfect start to the five-match series.

The visitors were bowled out for 150 on Day 1, however, turned it around to win the Test match by 295 runs on the back of eight wickets from Jasprit Bumrah and 161-run innings by Yashasvi Jaiswal
