Just when you thought that key elements removed from Drake’s lawsuit reporting was a thing, press your brakes. Drizzy’s legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG) over his defamation claims regarding Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us” just took a dramatic turn.

Drake has seemingly been minding his business and not been paying too much attention to Kendrick Lamar’s moves. However, his legal team appears to be speaking for him. They recently mentioned Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime performance in response to a claim made by Universal Music Group (UMG).

Drake is suing his record label for spreading a “false and malicious narrative” when it released and promoted Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”
