Michigan State signed class of 2025 defensive tackle Derrick Simmons, of Frankenmuth (Mich.) High School on Wednesday morning. The in-state defensive tackle committed to Michigan State in late June after a slate of official visits.

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. (WJRT) - Frankenmuth defensive lineman Derrick Simmons signed with Michigan State University on Wednesday. Simmons had seven sacks and 20 tackles for loss this past season with the Eagles. He helped lead Frankenmuth to the state championship game in two of the past four years.
