Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said last week that the team expected to have defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence back for their Week 14 Monday night game against the Bengals, but the outlook was a bit different on Monday.

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is nearing his return to the field, and Stephen Jones has provided the latest timeline for his return.

It doesn't appear that the Dallas Cowboys will be getting back DeMarcus Lawrence for this Monday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones recently confirmed that it's probably going to be another week before Lawrence is ready to play.

Cowboys General Manager Jerry Jones said more good news is coming, as defensive and DeMarcus Lawrence should play in the Cowboys’ next game, against the Bengals. “We’ll get Lawrence back against Cincinnati more than likely,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan.

Dallas Cowboys (5-7) defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has been sidelined since Week 4 with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot, and it doesn’t appear a return is expected to come in Week 14. Speaking Monday on 105.
