Caitlin Clark has set yet another record, this time with her 2024 WNBA rookie card selling for the most money yet for a female athlete at a public auction. Clark's Rookie Royalty WNBA Flawless Logowoman 1/1 card sold Thursday night for $660,

Signed by the Indiana Fever basketball phenomenon, it doubled the previous selling price for a women's sports card.

As indicated in the post, Clark nearly doubled the previous record for the most expensive WNBA card in history. It was also the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year who held the previous mark when her 2024 Panini Prizm WNBA Signatures Gold Vinyl Prizm was sold for $366,000 at Goldin Auctions earlier this year.

Clark recently suffered a right groin injury, and after being evaluated by medical staff, she'll remain in recovery and rehabilitation with no time timetable for her return. Her long-term health is the priority, and unfortunately, that means no hoops for now. (Clark will be on the bench for the foreseeable future until she gets better.)
