A year after Ohio State made an offer, Simeon Caldwell has committed to the Buckeyes and canceled official visits to Notre Dame, Miami, and USC.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State football is officially on a recruiting heater. Thursday morning, the Buckeyes earned a commitment from four-star safety/linebacker Simeon Caldwell. It was the team’s second safety pledge of the week, just a few days after five-star Blaine Bradford committed to Ohio State.

Ohio State landed a commitment from Rivals' No. 1 SAF after a visit back to the Shoe. Five-star SAF Blaine Bradford made it official after a multi-day visit on campus in Columbus -- his third visit to town since working out for Ryan Day and Matt Guerrieri last summer.
